Customer Information Systems is responsible for the development and operation of transit customer information systems with and emphasis on usability, accessibility, and innovation as core concepts to improve the customer experience and transit services in the City of Ottawa.
Working in a mixed project and operational environment with strict production and operational deadlines, you are responsible for assisting in the development and configuration of websites and apps, as well as daily monitoring and management of OC Transpo apps and websites. Duties can involve (but are not limited to) creating or pulling system reports, implementing minor changes through via configuration files, system dashboards, or content management system, testing and validation of app changes and builds, drafting change specifications, and consulting on project or system changes.
Completion of 3 year post-secondary program in a web content development, multi-media design or digital communication.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working primarily with web content development, application development, content management and multi-media design including experience with programming, data querying and SQL reporting.
