About Bluetent
Bluetent is a leader in the vacation rental and hospitality technology space, providing website, digital marketing, and support solutions to property managers across the globe. As our client base grows, we are expanding our Support Team and seeking a Technical Account Manager to guide clients through complex technical needs, multi-step support projects, and strategic digital recommendations.

Summary
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) operates within Bluetent’s Support Team and serves as the primary technical liaison for clients requiring advanced support, elevated troubleshooting, and project level oversight. This role blends technical problem solving, SFTP based implementation, SEO best practice advisory, and strong client communication. The TAM ensures client requests move smoothly from intake to completion while maintaining high service quality and clear documentation.
What You’ll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)
Client & Project Ownership
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients with complex support needs.
- Manage larger technical support requests and multi-step implementation projects.
- Conduct discovery with clients to clarify goals and technical requirements.
- Communicate timelines, updates, and next steps clearly and proactively.
Technical Support & Implementation
- Apply light development skills to perform SFTP file updates, plugin configurations, and website adjustments.
- Troubleshoot website and hosting issues, WordPress functionality, integrations, and third-party tools.
- Perform QA checks to ensure accuracy and proper functionality of updates.
- Coordinate with internal developers when deeper technical needs arise.
Strategic & SEO Advisory
- Provide SEO and technical SEO guidance, including metadata, indexing, URL structure, and on-page updates.
- Advise clients on vacation rental industry best practices and direct booking optimization.
- Offer data driven website performance recommendations.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track project progress, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate proactively.
- Provide insights and recommendations during client check ins.
- Identify opportunities for client growth, service enhancements, or further optimizations.
Cross-Team Collaboration
- Partner with Support, Development, Product, and Account Management teams.
- Advocate for client needs and provide feedback to help shape internal improvements.

QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For (Minimum qualifications)
- Experience with WordPress, website structures, SFTP, and basic front-end concepts.
- Understanding of SEO fundamentals and technical SEO.
- Background in client facing communication or technical account management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into client friendly language.

- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
