On behalf of our client, the Department National
Defence, we are recruiting for a Webmaster as part of a project to develop and
implement a set of standardized Information Technology (IT) services for all
users of the networks within the DND Classified Realms. The end result will be
the continual improvement of all of DND’s classified networks by providing
timely and accurate support to all CAF operations, both static and deployed.

Deliverables will include

Provide
immediate
support
to
the

GP
and
sub-units
Web
Sites,
SharePoint
and
O365;

o
Create
functional
specifications;

o
Verify
accuracy
and
completeness
of
work
performed;

o
Provide
technical
advice
to
clients
regarding
web
site
&
SharePoint
needs;

Coordinate
website
&
Sharepoint
development
in
specialized
fields
(
communication,
scientific,
etc.):

o
Create
pages
including
graphics
and
general
site
design;

o
Develop
and
implement
usability
tests,
analyse
results
and
modify
design
accordingly;

o
Develop
flowcharts
depicting
navigation
and
basic
content;

o
Develop
line drawings or block diagrams illustrating the priority of information,
links, navigation and space requirements;

o
Develop
content
diagrams
showing
the
interactive
connection
between
pages;
and

o
Develop
interactive
prototypes
showing
basic
form
and
functionality
for
both
usability
testing and presentations.

Perform
ActiveX,
EbXML,
HTML,
DHTML,
XML,
Java,
JavaScript,
.NET,
Perl,
conversions;

·
Perform
complex
web
design
working
with
Dreamweaver,
Adobe
A
crobat,
Illustrator, Photoshop and any Content
Management System (CMS);

·
Design
and
Develop
SharePoint
information
collaboration
collection
sites
for
the
department;

·
Integrate
and
administer
a
complex
SharePoint
site
collection
on
both
the
classified
and unclassified information system for
departmental use; and

·
Create,
format,
and
publish
information
compliant
with
departmental
policies,
procedures
and
guidelines.

Qualifications

·
4 years experience years with the building, creation and migration
between various versions of SharePoint

·
4 years experience within the past ten (10) years in web
development and design using tools such as Dreamweaver and/or Expression web.

o
The
Crown will accept resources with experience using tools such as SharePoint
Designer, PhotoShop, GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP), and PowerApps

·
2 years of experience working on classified intranet information systems.

·
2 years of experience working with departmental policies,
procedures and guidelines.

·
2 years of experience communicating, coordinating and liaising with
various IT in-service support groups
