Initiates claims against those individuals or companies and follows them through until full payment is received.

Responsibilities

• Receives audits andmaintainsthe documentation packet from Emergency Response Coordinators whichoutlinesaccidents that have damaged highway propertyItcontains

• Incident/Accident Report

• Police Report

• Pictures, if applicable

• Monitors/responds to ongoing questions or requests foradditionalinformation.

• Documents actions by accessing and entering data into Excel Access database.

• Assistsin providing monthly reports for Project Administrators.

• Avoids legal challenges bycomplying withfederal, state, and local legal requirements.

• Positively contribute to a diverse,inclusiveand fair work environment, free from discrimination,bullyingand harassment.

• Carry out all duties in line with Company policies and procedures as amended from time to time.

• Safety comes first! Required to complete work in a safe,efficientandaccuratemanner.

Qualifications

• High School or GED Required, 2 Years college preferred

• 3-5 years’ experience, Insurance industry experience preferred

• Demonstrates innovation and creativeproblem solvingskills

• Ability to use discretion in handling confidential information

• Ability to prioritize and complete a high volume of work and manage multiple projects

• Proficient use of Microsoft Suite Software

• Strong written and oral communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with leadership and staff across all functional areas of the business

WorkConditionsPhysical Demands

Approximately 100% performed inclimate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. Must be able to work / on typical office equipment / technology ( i.e.computer, phone, scanner/printer), including virtual connection technology such as webcams
