Job Description

Our client, a leading Software, Information and Communication Technologies company, operates internationally (Athens, Brussels, Luxembourg, Copenhagen, Stockholm, London, Nicosia, Hong-Kong, Valetta, etc). Our client is a renowned supplier of IT services to government institutions, multinational corporations, public administrations and multinational companies, research and academic institutes.



Our client currently has a vacancy for a Web operations Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 6 years of relevant working experience;
  • Knowledge of M365 (SharePoint Online Communication Sites - editing, web parts, metadata, multilingual features, permissions, and content publishing workflows and familiarity with Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps, Teams, and OneDrive to support integrated digital workplace solutions and communication campaigns;
  • Experience with Web Content Strategy & Editorial Standards, including accessibility (WCAG);
  • Usage of various web content management tools, for example Drupal;
  • Knowledge of structuring content using SharePoint features, tagging and taxonomy, user navigation flows, and optimizing for findability and engagement;
  • Web design capabilities and usage of corresponding tools (adobe, figma, etc...);
  • Proficient in SharePoint Online & Microsoft 365;
  • Very good knowledge of agile project management methodology fundamentals, web communication, information architecture & UX Design;
  • Experience with Web Content Creation & Editorial Skills;
  • Ability to understand requirements, propose solutions and help deliver them efficiently and fast;
  • Ability to give business and technical presentations;
  • Excellent command of the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Content Management and Editorial Support;
  • Create and edit content for websites, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with the client’s web creation practices;
  • Provide web writing and editorial support, including rewriting, proofreading, and optimizing content for readability, accessibility (WCAG), and internal SEO;
  • Perform regular content updates and maintenance to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and freshness of published information;
  • Structure and organise content using features such as web parts, components, sections, metadata, and navigation to enhance user experience and findability.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks, including broken links, formatting consistency, and compliance with editorial and web accessibility guidelines;
  • Communication and Campaign Support ;
  • Coordinate with content owners and stakeholders to gather, validate, and publish content in a timely and effective manner;
  • Create and manage collaborative sites, and content management systems (CMS);
  • Guide and support users in the effective use of platforms, and M365 services;
  • Perform regular reviews of information architecture across internal and external communication channels (websites, intranet communities, etc.);
  • Join technical working groups, progress meetings, and engage directly with users to align on needs and solutions.
