Create User-Centric Websites for Global Clients in a Fast-Paced, Collaborative Team

Epping (Cape Town) R20,000 to R35,000 per month Office-Based 40 hours/week

With a portfolio of over 30 brands across industries such as global removals, heritage preservation, and records management, the company thrives on cross-functional teamwork and innovation. Their web development division collaborates closely with graphic designers, SEO experts, and digital marketers to deliver cohesive and impactful online solutions.

The Role: Web Designer

As a Web Designer, you'll be instrumental in creating and revamping websites that drive engagement and conversions for a diverse set of international brands. You'll blend creativity with technical skill to develop user-focused digital experiences, working closely with an energetic team of developers, designers, and content creators.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and update websites using WordPress and HTML
• Create UI/UX designs that are visually engaging and conversion-optimised
• Design mailers, internal newsletters, and other communication assets
• Develop animated and static banners (GIF and HTML5) for digital campaigns
• Maintain and update website content to ensure freshness and relevance

About You

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar web design role
• Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Working knowledge of PHP and WordPress (custom themes, plugins)
• Strong design skills using Photoshop and Illustrator
• Solid understanding of SEO and UX principles
• Creative, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
