Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Web Application Sr Analyst to support, stability, and continuous improvement of enterprise web applications across a diverse technology stack. This role is responsible for managing production support, ensuring high availability, and leading a team that supports applications built on JBoss EAP, Java, .NET Framework, Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), and web services

The ideal candidate combines strong technical depth with operational excellence and leadership experience in a global, business-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

Application Support & Operations

  • Own day-to-day production support for enterprise web applications built on JBoss EAP, Java, .NET, IICS, and web services
  • Ensure application availability, performance, reliability, and scalability across environments.
  • Lead incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
  • Establish and maintain operational runbooks, monitoring, alerting, and escalation procedures.

Platform & Technology Management

  • Oversee support and maintenance of application servers (JBoss EAP), middleware, and web services (SOAP/REST).
  • Manage integrations and data flows leveraging Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
  • Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure platform stability, patching, and compliance.
  • Support application upgrades, patches, and configuration changes with minimal business disruption.

Service Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Manage application support intake through ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), including ticket prioritization, SLAs, and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce incidents, improve performance, and increase automation.
  • Identify recurring issues and work with engineering teams to implement permanent fixes.
  • Define and track KPIs related to application uptime, incident trends, and support efficiency.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the primary support liaison between business stakeholders, development teams, and IT leadership.
  • Collaborate with development teams on release planning, deployments, and transition to production support.
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding incidents, risks, and system health.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise application support
  • Strong hands-on experience supporting Java and .NET-based web applications
  • Solid experience with JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP) administration and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting integrations and data workflows using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
  • Strong understanding of web services (REST/SOAP) and distributed system architectures.
  • Experience with ITSM processes, incident management, and SLA-driven support environments.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting applications in cloud or hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and release management.
  • Experience with application performance monitoring (APM) and logging tools.
  • Background in regulated or high-availability enterprise environments.
  • Experience managing global or follow-the-sun support teams.
