Thrive Wealth Management is a wealth management subsidiary of Conexus Credit Union serving members of credit unions and their communities. The Bigger Picture

We’re looking for a Wealth Specialist to join our Thrive Wealth Management team in Regina who is passionate about providing new and existing clients with holistic wealth advice and planning. You’ll work with an experienced team of credit union employees and internal colleagues to grow a new book of business. This includes generating new opportunities through credit union referrals, colleague partnerships, and proactive prospecting for investment and planning solutions, all while maintaining professionalism and integrity and taking pride in doing what’s right for your clients.

How you’ll be spending your time:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through advice led conversations and planning based solutions
  • Provide expert advice by thoroughly understanding client goals, financial circumstances and risk tolerance.
  • Identify opportunities within existing and prospective relationships for investment, planning and wealth solutions to grow client relationships.
  • Generating external business while also accessing an established pipeline of prospective clients through trusted partnership with the credit union
  • Collaborate with credit union partnerships to facilitate personal introductions of clients/members who require wealth advice and planning expertise beyond the credit union’s services
  • Actively network to make referrals and introductions with Thrive and credit union partners and external professionals
  • Building and growing your book of business through a sustainable client book contact plan, building your professional brand and engaging with centers of influence

You will have the flexibility to set up your practice with access to support that will allow you to focus on advice and planning for your clients and members. This includes access to support and resources for marketing, technology, human resources, office management and property and facilities.

The experience you bring:

  • 3+ years of investment and financial service experience
  • A proven track record of delivering sales results
  • IFIC or Canadian Securities Course and eligible to be registered to sell mutual funds
  • Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP®) or willingness and eligibility to obtain is required

Compensation:

Comprehensive compensation including salary plus commission and bonus.
