About the Role

As a Senior Advisor in the Wealth Propositions team, the incumbent serves as the subject matter expert in trust, tax and estate planning, delivering tailored Beyond Insurance solutions in driving business growth within the High Net Worth (HNW) segment. The role leads the development of specialized products and services, and spearheads initiatives to upskill distribution channels, ensuring consistent and high-quality advisory capabilities across the organization.

Responsibilities:

Advisory Leadership & Business Development

  • Provide expert guidance on trust structures, cross-border tax considerations, and estate planning strategies for HNW clients

  • Participate in joint fieldwork with tied distribution agents to uncover client needs, facilitate fact find and deliver tailored wealth planning solutions, with aim of acquiring new business

  • Act as the internal go-to resource for complex, cross-border client cases, international assets, and succession planning

  • Collaborate with product, legal, and compliance teams to enhance offerings aligned with client needs and regulatory requirements

Marketing Support & Service Innovation

  • Lead the design and enhancement of digital platforms and interactive tools that showcase our wealth planning capabilities, trust solutions, and estate planning expertise

  • Evaluate market trends and competitor offerings to ensure our HNW propositions remains competitive and differentiated

Distribution Enablement & Training

  • Develop and deliver training programs to upskill all distribution channels on Beyond Insurance advisory topics

  • Curate educational sharing sessions to incorporate timely updates on the evolving tax and regulatory landscape, enabling sales force to stay current and confidently address client queries

  • Drive thought leadership on HNW advisory trends, best practices and insights, through leveraging network of professional intermediaries

  • Create toolkits, case studies, and best practice guides to support sales teams

Partnership Engagement and Management

  • Build strong relationships with external tax advisors, lawyers, and trust companies to support client referrals

  • Represent the firm in industry events and forums

Governance, Compliance & Strategic Contribution

  • Ensure strict adherence to internal compliance, governance policies, and relevant market regulations in all advisory activities and client engagements

  • Support ad hoc strategic and operational projects as they arise, contributing subject matter expertise and cross-functional collaboration

  • Obtain and maintain relevant regulatory licenses where required, in accordance with the nature of the role and applicable laws

  • Contribute actively to the development and refinement of AIAS’ holistic wealth propositions, aligning with evolving client needs and market dynamics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Accounting, or related field; advanced certifications (e.g. CFP, STEP, TEP, CPA) preferred

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in wealth advisory, estate planning, or private banking, with a focus on HNW clients

  • Strong understanding of international tax and trust structures, Singapore laws and other applicable laws and regulations of key countries/regions

  • Demonstrate experience in integrating insurance products with complementary other planning tools to structure a comprehensive legacy and wealth transfer strategy

  • Proven ability to lead initiatives, influence stakeholders, and deliver client-centric solutions

  • Customer service focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work under pressure on multiple priorities
