The Opportunity

As a Wealth Manager, you will serve as a trusted adviser to high-income and affluent clients, providing holistic financial planning and wealth management solutions tailored to their unique goals and circumstances.

You will work closely with clients to help them grow, protect, and preserve their wealth through strategic advice across investments, retirement planning, estate planning, risk management and wealth structuring.

Are you someone who can:

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build, manage, grow and maintain a portfolio of clients in our segment.
    • Develop trusted, long-term relationships through regular communication, proactive engagement and exceptional service.
    • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand assets under management.
  • Financial Planning & Wealth Advisory:
    • Provide comprehensive holistic financial advice aligned with client’s goals, needs, risk profiles and investment horizons.
    • Design and implement tailored wealth management strategies.
    • Advise on investment and portfolio construction, wealth management and preservation solutions, retirement planning, estate planning, fiduciary services and risk protection.
  • Portfolio Management:
    • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and recommend appropriate adjustments.
    • Monitor market developments and assess the impact on client portfolios.
    • Ensure investment strategies remain aligned with changing client circumstances and objectives.
  • Business Development:
    • Generate new business through networking, referrals, professional partnerships, and client introductions.
    • Identify and pursue opportunities for portfolio growth and revenue generation.
    • Actively contribute to the growth and the success of the Swakopmund practice.
  • Governance & Compliance:
    • Maintain the highest standards of ethics, professionalism and client care.
    • Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, fiduciary and internal governance requirements.
    • Maintain accurate records, documentation and audit trails.

You will be an ideal candidate if you have:

  • Degree in Finance, Investment Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Relevant NAMFISA accreditation and regulatory certification.
  • CFP ®, Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning, or equivalent will be an advantage.
  • Valid driver's license and own transport.
  • 5-7 years’ experience and ability to apply knowledge of Wealth Management, Portfolio Construction, Financial Advisory and Asset Management
  • Provent track-record of building and maintaining client relationships.
  • German fluency would be an advantage

Knowledge & Expertise:

  • Investment management and portfolio construction and ability to demonstrate it in an interview.
  • Financial planning and wealth structuring.
  • Estate and succession planning.
  • Fiduciary services and risk management solutions.
  • Regulatory and compliance requirements within a financial advisory environment.
  • Economic and market trends affecting wealth preservation and growth.
