This job is responsible for driving and executing on internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business (LOB) or Enterprise Control Function (ECF). Key responsibilities include providing analytical and administrative support for LOB or ECF specific processes and tools to drive adherence to enterprise-wide standards. Job expectations include monitoring and testing controls and implementing quality assurance and quality control processes within the LOB or ECF by evaluating data to help identify, track, and report issues and control improvements for remediation.

Responsibilities:

This role will support the Banking Solutions Group on many aspects including SPI control and metric performance, analyzing performance to identify emerging risks, sales practice monitoring & performance, supporting issue management. Will partner with LOB leaders, Consumer Banking, Lending and Shared Services, and GCOR/audit partners to ensure all actions are completed within required timelines. Ensures any risks associated with execution and/or timeline are immediately escalated. Supports one-time deliverables and special projects as needed.

  • 5+ years of banking or lending controls experience where milestones were met or exceeded

  • Consumer lending background and strong understanding of lending laws, rules, and regulations

  • Familiar with UDAAP, RSNIP, FRCA, ECOA, RESPA, TILA SCRA – core banking and lending regulatory framework

  • Familiar with SPI, control ownership, and metric management

  • Experience supporting regulatory and audit exams, including evidence and narrative preparation

  • Proven individual contributor leadership skills

  • A true team player and collaborator, translating knowledge and experience into strong and productive relationships internally and externally

  • Ability to challenge business partners while maintaining constructive relationships
