Job Description
As an Individual Contributor, this role participates in a structured development program designed to build foundational knowledge and experience across Wealth Strategy and Planning, Credit, Trust and Estate Administration, Relationship Management, and Investments. The role supports business initiatives, client servicing activities, operational processes, and analytical assignments while developing the technical expertise, business acumen, and professional judgment necessary to contribute to comprehensive wealth management solutions. Through training, mentorship, and cross-functional exposure, this role builds the skills needed for future growth within Wealth Management.
- Professional Development and Learning: Participates in structured training, mentorship, job shadowing, and developmental experiences designed to build knowledge across Wealth Management disciplines. Completes assigned learning objectives and actively applies newly acquired knowledge to assigned work and projects.
- Wealth Management Support: Assists with analytical, operational, and client support activities that contribute to the delivery of wealth management solutions. Supports relationship managers and subject matter specialists through research, preparation of materials, and follow-up activities.
- Research and Analysis: Conducts research, gathers information, and assists with financial, operational, and market analysis to support business initiatives and client-related activities. Develops proficiency in wealth management products, services, systems, and reporting tools while applying analytical skills to routine assignments.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborates with team members and business partners across Wealth Management and other departments to support projects, initiatives, and process improvement efforts. Communicates findings, project updates, and relevant information effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Operational Excellence and Risk Awareness: Supports process improvement initiatives designed to enhance operational effectiveness and service delivery. Adheres to applicable policies, procedures, risk management requirements, regulatory expectations, and information security standards while completing assigned responsibilities.
- Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience or certification(s) may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum 2 years or less of experience in wealth management, banking, financial services, investments, or a related field.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic knowledge and skill proficiency in accuracy & efficiency, agility, analytical thinking, cross-functional collaboration, customer experience, laws & regulations, problem solving, results driven, and technology literacy.
- Demonstrated interest in wealth management, financial services, banking, or investments, with strong communication, organization, adaptability, and learning agility. Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain attention to detail, exercise sound judgment, and work effectively with others while demonstrating professionalism, initiative, and a commitment to continuous development
