Based in Chicago with advisors across the U.S., we operate as a registered investment advisor (RIA).
The Role
Hightower Signature Wealth is expanding its presence in the Philadelphia area, and is looking for an experienced, client-centric, Wealth Advisor, to support and enhance client relationships introduced through our business development efforts.
This is a non-entry level role designed for a seasoned financial professional who thrives in complex planning environments, understands tax-aware investment strategies, and takes full ownership of client relationships to ensure a positive client experience and retention.
You're a trusted advisor, relationship steward, and team player who is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure clients feel supported, understood, and confident in their long-term partnership with Hightower Signature Wealth.
This role is designed for an advisor who views client relationships as a long-term franchise asset, and takes personal accountability for retention, satisfaction, and outcomes. You will report to the Director.
What You'll Do
• Assume full relationship ownership for clients onboarded through our custodial referral programs
• Serve as the primary relationship lead for assigned client relationships
• Develop and implement customized financial plans incorporating tax planning, investment strategy, estate considerations, retirement planning, and risk management
• Partner with internal investment, planning, tax resources to provide coordinated solutions
• Lead regular in-person and virtual client reviews, with a focus on long-term planning outcomes rather than short-term performance
• Serve as a trusted partner to clients navigating complex financial decisions
• Collaborate with referral partners, including CPA's, estate attorneys, to support holistic planning outcomes
• Maintain high client retention by proactively managing expectations, delivering consistent follow-through, and managing client outcomes
• Uphold all regulatory, compliance, and fiduciary responsibilities
What You'll Bring
You are an experienced relationship manager with the judgment, confidence, and professionalism required to independently manage client relationships and deliver consistent client experiences.
You will have experience and attributes in the following areas:
• A deep commitment to client service, relationship ownership, and long-term retention.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build immediate credibility and trust with high-net-worth clients
• High emotional intelligence and the ability to uncover client motivations, priorities, and concerns
• Intellectual curiosity and comfort navigating complex financial, tax, and planning scenarios
• A team-first mindset with a strong work ethic and willingness to step in wherever needed to support clients and colleagues
Required Experience
• 5 or more years of continued licensed experience as a financial services professional
• Active security licenses (Series 65 or 66 required)
• One or more of the following credentials required:
◦ CFP®, CPA, CFA, and Juris Doctor (JD)
• Clean U4 compliance record
• Bachelor's degree required, graduate-degree preferred
• Experience working with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients strongly preferred
• You will be required to be accepted into the SAN (Schwab Advisor Network) and WAS (Wealth Advisor Solutions) through successful background check
• The role is suited for advisors who already have spent several years managing complex client relationships independently and are now looking for a long-term, relationship-focused role within a growing team
What We Offer
• Base salary range: $100,000 to $110,000 annually, based on experience, credentials, and demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships
• Variable compensation: Performance-based incentive compensation with an expected range of $30,000 to $50,000+, tied primarily to client retention, relationship ownership, and overall contribution to the firm rather than asset gathering alone
