About the Role

In the role of Wealth Advisor, Digital, you play an important role as both a concierge to existing clients within our ATB Prosper digital offer as well as relationship manager to our GWS Employer sponsors and their employee client base. You will engage with a number of existing clients to gain a greater understanding of how we can best serve their needs long-term and support their financial planning and investment advice needs within our existing eco system. Under the leadership of the Director, ATB Wealth Advice Centre you will be responsible for the investment advice and holistic financial planning needs of those who have grown their wealth to a complexity tipping point within our digital channels.. This is a sales-driven, client-focused role that blends advisory expertise with relationship management. You will be the main point of contact for our GWS existing employer sponsors, completing employer sponsor reviews and ensuring a high propensity of new client onboardings. Partnerships will be developed with our advisors working within our branch networks as we discover existing clients whose investment needs are more suited for an in branch experience. Accountabilities

  • Deliver high-value financial advice and personalized planning to ATB Prosper’s affluent digital clients by uncovering their unique goals, life stages, and priorities to help them grow and protect their wealth.
  • Drive business growth by conducting deep discovery reviews with clients and GWS sponsors, proactively identifying liquidity and cash events to unlock high-value banking and referral opportunities across ATB.
  • Collaborate across ATB with branch teams, business banking, and Senior Financial Advisors to connect clients with the right experts and solutions for a seamless 'One ATB' experience.
  • Champion client experience by providing trusted, personalized guidance that simplifies financial decisions and builds long-term confidence and loyalty
  • Utilize financial planning software to design personalized wealth plans that align with client goals.
  • Harness technology and data insights to manage your pipeline, monitor performance, and deliver seamless, high-impact client interactions.
  • Partner with specialized experts across ATB to deliver clear, personalized, and high-value financial advice.
  • Act as a trusted advisor who deeply understands client goals, acts in their best interest, and constructively challenges them to make optimal financial decisions.
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience that supports clients at every step, helping turn their financial aspirations into reality.
  • Connect the dots between client wealth and life goals, guiding them through every major life stage.

Skills, Experience & Requirements

  • 5 years of sales and customer experience in the financial services industry (preferably Wealth Management)
  • Immediate CIRO registration through one of the following:
    • Currently a Registered Representative (RR) through CIRO,
    • Completion of Canadian Securities Course, Conduct, Practices Handbook Course, and Wealth Management Essentials within the last 3 years; OR
    • New CIRO requirements effective as of January 1, 2026: Actively enrolled in or completed the Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) & Retail Securities Exam (RSE)
  • Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Economics, Business or a related field (equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered)
  • A financial planning designation (CFP or QAFP) is required
  • Effective relationship building, communication and discovery skills. This will help you to establish relationships with various centers of influences including branches, your advisors team and other teams across the organization
  • The ability to meet or exceed required sales goals, by continuously driving to find opportunities to reach new customers
  • Ability to embrace existing technology to maximize productivity, enhance processes and support our client experience
