The Wealth Advisor is a client-facing representative of Burke & Herbert Wealth Management Services who will assist customers with investment and financial planning needs. This is a licensed position (FINRA Series 7 and 66 and VA L&H), which requires the ability to execute investment transactions.

This position combines entrepreneurial opportunity with the structure, security and resources of a premier community bank. The position requires the ability to manage time efficiently and may call for local travel coordinated with your assigned branch offices. The primary goal of a Wealth Advisor is to cultivate and grow financial planning relationships for Burke & Herbert Bank customers. In addition to the opportunity to help expand relationships with existing customers, a Wealth Advisor is expected to develop relationships to help add to the Bank’s growth.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Office environment with job duties conducted via telephone, face to face meetings, and on the computer.
Physical Demands
This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and opening cabinets. This position requires bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
For applicants located in Virginia (VA) or Maryland (MD): The anticipated salary range for this position is $40,000–$55,000 annually. This range represents the good-faith compensation the Company reasonably expects to pay for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, education, certifications, internal equity, and business needs.
All other locations: The salary will be based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
This position will also be eligible for additional compensation, such as bonuses or incentive pay, where applicable.
Travel
Travel will be required for this position.
