Job Description

Performs all cleaning and floor waxing functions using approved cleaning solutions and procedures.

Job Responsibility:

  • * Performs daily cleaning of exam rooms, common areas and offices including tables, spot check and clean wall, empty and re-line trash containers and replenishes paper towel and hand soap dispensers.
  • * Sanitizes restrooms using assigned equipment and germicidal solutions.
  • * Transports garbage to specified collection areas.
  • * Vacuums air vents as needed.
  • * Moves furniture and supplies.
  • * Uses appropriate safety labels on all spray bottles.
  • * Cleans windows at reception, check-out areas and entrances
  • * Prepares floor area to be cleaned by moving furniture, sweep and/or mop as necessary. Strip and wax floor as appropriate. Returns all furniture and equipment after floor has dried.
  • * Utilizes floor scrubbing unit and buffs floors using appropriate equipment and proper pads and chemical necessary to maintain the floors. Cleans baseboards.
  • Performs related duties, as required.

Job Qualification:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare environment, preferred.
  • Knowledge of proper handling procedure related to regulated medical and solid waste, preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and follow directions. Detail-oriented, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, preferred.
  • Previous experience with Floor Care preferred.

Work Schedule: Wednesday - Friday 3pm - 11pm and weekend coverage as needed*
