Specialist Client Operations

About the role

Are you highly organised, detail-oriented and eager to play a central role in the smooth delivery of media campaigns for leading brands? As a Client Operations Specialist, you are the operational backbone of our client teams at Wavemaker. You make sure campaigns run efficiently from briefing to reporting, while keeping a close eye on planning, budgets, administration and process quality.

You will work closely with client leads, media planners, specialists, finance teams and external partners. Your role is key in ensuring that everyone has the right information, deadlines are respected, campaign administration is accurate, and clients receive a reliable and professional service.

What you will do

• Coordinate the day-to-day operational follow-up of media campaigns across different channels and client accounts.
• Support client teams in translating briefings into clear internal actions, timelines and deliverables.
• Monitor campaign planning, deadlines, budgets and administrative flows to ensure smooth execution.
• Act as a central point of contact for operational and financial questions from internal teams, clients and partners.
• Follow up on client approvals, material delivery, campaign documentation and reporting requirements.
• Work closely with media specialists, planners and finance colleagues to keep processes accurate and efficient.
• Identify potential bottlenecks, flag risks proactively and help solve issues before they impact campaign delivery.
• Contribute to improving ways of working, templates, tools and operational processes.

Who we are looking for

• You are at the start of your career or already have first experience in media, marketing, advertising, project coordination, administration or client operations.
• You are structured, accurate and comfortable working with deadlines, budgets and detailed information.
• You enjoy coordinating with different stakeholders and keeping everyone aligned.
• You communicate clearly and professionally in English and Dutch or French; knowledge of both Dutch and French is a strong plus.
• You are proactive, solution-oriented and not afraid to ask questions or flag issues.
• You are comfortable working with numbers, planning tools and administrative systems.
• You thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift and teamwork is essential.
• You are curious about the media industry and motivated to learn how campaigns are planned, bought, activated and reported.
