Villa Nautica is looking for a passionate and responsible Water Sports Team Member to join our Quality Adventure team. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring guest safety, maintaining equipment, and providing outstanding water sports experiences. This role demands professionalism, teamwork, and a strong dedication to exceptional customer service.

  • Conduct excursions and offsite trips with professionalism, prioritizing safety and guest satisfaction.
  • Securely store vessels and equipment when not in use.
  • Participate in routine maintenance and ensure all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Follow accident and incident reporting procedures and adhere to health and safety policies.
  • Greet and assist guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a memorable experience.
  • Conduct daily safety and maintenance checks before and after operations.
  • Ensure all work areas, tools, and equipment are cleaned and maintained regularly.
  • Assist senior team members in positioning and handling equipment and vessels.
  • Operate all equipment safely and efficiently, following all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Handle phone inquiries efficiently and professionally.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Observe and ensure guest safety at all times during activities.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or technical issues to the instructor.
  • Support the resort’s promotional activities and contribute to business growth.
  • Be flexible to move between different resort locations as per operational needs.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in water sports, hospitality, or guest service is preferred.
  • Strong swimming skills and knowledge of water safety procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility to work in various locations and adapt to different job roles.
