Job Description

Wilco Contractors Northwest Inc. is on the lookout for a dedicated Water Truck Driver to join our team. As a leading contractor in civil construction, Wilco delivers high-quality projects and is known for its commitment to safety and excellence.

In this role, the Water Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting and spraying water on various job sites, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and safely. You will work closely with site managers and other team members to coordinate water distribution effectively while adhering to all regulations.

This seasonal position currently works a Monday through Saturday Schedule, 10-12 hours per day. A safety and Driver's evaluation/competency will be conducted prior to receiving an offer before employment begins to ensure skill set and qualifications.

Requirements

• Minimum Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Class 1 or 3 is considered an asset.
• Experience driving heavy vehicles, preferably water trucks.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations.
• Physically capable of performing manual labor and operating machinery.
• Strong numeracy skills, record keeping and technology usage.
• Good communication skills to liaise with site supervisors and team members.
• Basic maintenance skills to perform equipment checks and minor repairs.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• CSTS 2020 certification is required.
