Under the direction of the Water Treatment Plant Primary Operator or designee, responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of the Town’s water treatment facility, storage tanks and pumping stations in accordance with all State and Federal regulations, standards and procedures.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Education and Experience
Duties require high school diploma; knowledge of water treatment plant operations and related activities; up to two years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must possess at least a TC (T3 Operator in Training) license and a valid driver’s license. Compensation is commensurate with the level of certification attained.
Supervisory Experience
Requires supervisory decisions to assure the production and delivery of water for consumption, fire protection, and commerce. Must have the knowledge, experience, and ability to operate the entire water treatment plant independentlyand respond to operational issues without direct supervision.
