The Mitigation Technician is a frontline production role responsible for delivering high-quality property damage restoration services in accordance with IICRC industry standards. This position plays a critical role in the customer experience by performing mitigation tasks with urgency and professionalism while keeping clients informed throughout the restoration process. As a direct representative of ServPro Team Landers in the field, the Mitigation Technician upholds the company's commitment to excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement on every project.

SERVPRO of NW Portland is seeking a reliable, hardworking Water Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in helping homes and businesses recover from water damage and get back to normal as quickly as possible. If you enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a team that helps people in challenging situations, this could be a great fit for you.

General Responsibilities:

Respond to emergency water damage calls at residential and commercial properties
Perform water extraction, drying, and dehumidification using specialized equipment
Set up and monitor drying equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers
Remove and dispose of damaged materials (carpet, drywall, insulation, etc.)
Document job progress with photos and notes for internal records and insurance purposes
Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sites
Communicate clearly with customers, supervisors, and team members
Follow SERVPRO production guidelines and safety protocols
Assist with demolition and basic restoration tasks as needed
Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency response
Qualifications:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Experience in restoration, construction, or a related field is a plus (but not required)
