Glanville Environmental is a reputable and thriving drainage and civil engineering company that has been a driving force in the Southwest region for over three decades. As we continue to expand our impressive portfolio of clients and secure long-term contracts, we are seeking talented individuals to join our passionate team. If you are ready to make your mark in the industry and be part of a family-owned business, this is your opportunity to thrive.
We’re looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to join our team, supporting the delivery of water mains rehabilitation works for South West Water across Devon and Cornwall.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Site Supervisor who enjoys leading teams, managing multiple sites and playing a key role in delivering essential water infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards, while maintaining strong relationships with our client, operational teams and local stakeholders.
The role will cover projects across Devon and Cornwall based from our St. Austell Depot.
Here are some of the activities you’ll be involved in...
Proven industry experience or similar site leadership role, with a background in water, utilities or another operational environment. You’ll be confident managing teams and subcontractors across multiple sites, with a strong focus on safe and efficient delivery.
Technical knowledge of industry standards and experience of working within the water industry would be highly advantageous, particularly where you have been responsible for managing works around operational assets, coordinating different teams and working to client and programme requirements.
Strong Health & Safety awareness is essential, together with the confidence to ensure standards are maintained across multiple sites and to challenge where necessary.
You’ll also have strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, colleagues, stakeholders and members of the public where required. You’ll be organised, proactive and comfortable managing changing priorities across a regional area.
