At our water and wastewater plants on the Samsung Semiconductor campus, our Operations teams’ drive for sustainability and operational excellence is balanced by our need to adopt tomorrow’s technologies to ensure plant resilience, environmental stewardship, and the safety of our staff.

Role and Responsibilities

Here’s What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Complete project management of multiple projects across the UPW systems.

• Participatesand leads some of the commissioning activities,and provides subject matter expertisetocontractorsand the internal teamforany commissioning or construction related issues.

• Monitor daily trends, perform equipment inspections,and coordinate with OPS regarding work ordersand process improvement projects.

• Meet the needs of our operators by supportingand collaborating with the plant operations teamtodevelopand implement process improvements

• Execute complete ownershipand accountability of the entire system scopeand projects.

• Proactively troubleshoot critical UPW system issuesand/or baseline shifts.

• Researchand develop new innovative technologiestoimprove UPW qualityand reliability; plan,requestand implement improvements

• Support of instrumentation, maintenance,and operations groups in day-to-day tasks.

• Coachand mentor less experienced engineerstodevelop their knowledge, talentand skills.

• Lead facilities wide task-force teamstodevelop more efficient practicesand processes.

• Be a visible presence in facilities wide meetings.

• Confidently interface with the factory unit parts.

• Creationand development of structured step plans processforwork execution of process improvementand repair work.

• Review SOPs, PLC programming changes, SOOs (sequence of operations),and other administrative tasks .

• Lead system-wide trendanalysisand use thatanalysistodrive system. improvements.

Skills and Qualifications

Here's what you'll need

• B.S. in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, Process or Industrial Engineering.

• 6+ years of experience inanEngineering environment, preferably within Design or Operations.

• Working knowledge of general water treatment technologiesand/or processes.

• Advanced knowledge of ultrapure water treatment systems.

The current base salary range for this role is between $70,480 - $179,090. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

Eligible full-time employees (salaried or hourly) may also receive MBO bonuses based on company, division, and individual performance.
