
Under the direction of the Aquatics Manager and/or the supervision of Aquatics Assistant Manager, Lead Guard or Lifeguard, the Waterpark Program Attendant will perform a variety of duties as needed for the successful operation of the Aquatics programs and activities, especially in manning the Waterslide, greeting members, providing directions and any other duties as assigned. This position is also required to assist with general facility maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned.

Member/Pool Safety
• Monitor the safe passage of members' entrance into the Waterpark and those using the pool slide.• In an emergency, provide crowd control and /or assist with clearing pools.• Always observe and enforce all safety rules and regulations.• Monitor and ensure proper usage of pool areas and equipment.
Member Service
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with members and guests by providing personal attention to all participants through a proactive, welcoming approach.• Be an ambassador for the Salvation Army Camden Kroc Center by providing accurate information and promoting the center's activities, programs, and services. Maintain progressive knowledge of all programs and activities.
Miscellaneous
• Communicate effectively with Camden Kroc employees and customers.• Must wear standard apparel in accordance with the Salvation Army Camden Kroc Aquatics Department and always exhibit a professional appearance while on duty.• Attend required staff meetings and in-service training.• Carry out The Salvation Army mission in your actions and words during your employment. Ensure that the ultimate goal of spiritual, emotional, and physical regeneration of all people.• Other duties within the scope of the role as assigned by supervisors.
• At least 16 years of age.• Must complete Waterslide Rules Training on the first day of employment.• Must be able to lift and carry 45 pounds or more.• Must understand and support The Salvation Army’s mission as a church and a social services organization.
