We are looking for a proactive and self‑motivated Water Network Technician to join our Water Network Operations and Leakage team in Leicestershire You’ll be taking ownership of a designated patch of District Meter Areas (DMAs).
This is a field‑based role offering a high level of autonomy, where you can manage your own workload while playing a vital part in identifying, investigating, and reducing water leakage across the network, with a key focus on health and safety.
The role includes regular customer interaction, technical investigation, and detailed feedback to operational teams. A key objective for the team you’ll be joining is to reduce unaccounted water within your designated patch. Additionally, you will be looking to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
You'll travel around Leicestershire, and you will be given one of our vans so you can do your job; this makes having a valid Full UK Drivers Licence an essential requirement for the role, so you are able to carry out your responsibilities!
With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 40 hours a week, Mon to Fri, 7:00AM to 3:30PM. You will also participate in a standby rota.

With a proactive, right‑first‑time mindset, you’ll diagnose and resolve problems efficiently, balancing commercial awareness with sound cost‑benefit decision‑making. You’ll have a genuine commitment to building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
