Reporting to the Capital Projects Manager, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Water Infrastructure Superintendent to join the Oaky Creek Surface Team.

The Role:

As the Water Infrastructure Superintendent, you will ensure the safe, reliable and compliant operation of the site’s water infrastructure and systems. You will maintain asset performance and availability through proactive maintenance planning, scheduling and contractor management, and deliver water management in line with the site Water Management Plan. You will provide timely, accurate water data and reports to stakeholders, while supporting incident response, continuous improvement and cross‑functional coordination.

About you:

  • 2–5 years’ experience in a similar water infrastructure/management role.
  • Strong safety-first mindset incorporating safety into daily activities and decision making.
  • Practical experience in water infrastructure and site water management.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, particularly in Word and Excel (formulas, data analysis, reporting).
  • Clear, concise report writing and stakeholder communication.
  • Ability to lead meetings and present technical information.
  • Strong analytical, attention-to-detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Contractor and maintenance management experience with the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver work safely and on time.
  • Ability to work decisively under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • High integrity, confidentiality and the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business.

This is a Monday to Friday or 9-day fortnight rostered position.
