We are seeking an energetic and knowledgeable Water Aerobics Instructor to lead engaging, safe, and effective aquatic fitness classes. This role involves delivering a variety of water-based workouts that cater to different fitness levels, promoting overall health, mobility, and strength through movement in the pool.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead group aquatic fitness classes incorporating a variety of formats such as:
  • Water aerobics
  • Aqua HIIT
  • Resistance-based water training
  • Mobility and recovery-focused sessions
• Design and modify workouts to accommodate all fitness levels and abilities
• Provide clear instruction on proper form, technique, and safety in an aquatic environment
• Create a positive, motivating, and inclusive class atmosphere
• Monitor participants during sessions to ensure safety and engagement
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool equipment (weights, noodles, kickboards, etc.)
• Stay current with trends and best practices in aquatic fitness

Qualifications

• Certification in Group Fitness, Aquatic Fitness, or related field (e.g., AFAA, ACE, or equivalent)
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
• Experience leading group fitness classes (aquatic experience preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt workouts for diverse populations, including beginners and older adults

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in exercise science, kinesiology, or related field
• Experience with multiple aquatic training styles (HIIT, rehab-focused, endurance training)

Schedule & Availability

• Monday through Friday, starting at 8 am.
• Additional class times may be added based on member demand
