Location: Vancouver Boutique (in Holt Renfrew)
Reports To: Boutique Manager
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Your Role @ Chanel

As the Watches & Fine Jewelry (W&FJ) Team Lead, you are both a passionate ambassador of the CHANEL brand and a hands-on leader for the boutique’s W&FJ business. In this dual role, you will coach, mentor, and develop W&FJ Sales Specialists while also driving your own sales performance. You are accountable for cultivating a high-performing, client-focused sales team, setting the standard for excellence in selling, service, and team collaboration. The Team Lead acts as the bridge between Sales Specialists and Management, ensuring operational excellence and upholding CHANEL’s values at every touchpoint.

Your Impact @ Chanel

Team Leadership & Coaching

  • Mentor and coach W&FJ Sales Specialists to elevate their skills, confidence, and results through daily feedback, role-modeling, and collaborative goal-setting.
  • Facilitate regular product and sales technique training, sharing insights and motivating the team to exceed expectations.
  • Support the Boutique Manager in recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing evaluation of W&FJ Sales Specialists.

Personal & Team Selling

  • Achieve personal and team sales goals, directly contributing to boutique results while empowering team members to grow their client portfolio and maximize every selling opportunity.
  • Partner with the Boutique Manager to set, monitor, and review sales targets for W&FJ Sales Specialists, ensuring accountability and recognition of achievements.

Client Experience

  • Deliver exceptional, personalized service to CHANEL clients and VIPs, ensuring every interaction reflects the brand’s standards.
  • Guide the team to foster long-term client relationships through thoughtful follow-up and expert advice.

Boutique Operations (W&FJ Focus)

  • Oversee operational standards specific to the W&FJ business, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and event execution.
  • Collaborate with management on W&FJ stock planning, product launches, and boutique events.

Brand Ambassador

  • Uphold and model CHANEL’s grooming, presentation, and service standards at all times.
  • Maintain a positive, collaborative team spirit, inspiring others through clear communication and shared purpose.

What You Bring

  • Leadership Experience: Proven ability to mentor and elevate sales team performance, ideally with experience coaching others in a luxury retail environment.
  • Expertise in W&FJ: At least 5 years’ experience selling Watches & Fine Jewelry, with deep product knowledge and a passion for the category.
  • Strong Communication: Ability to inspire, engage, and develop both clients and team members.
  • Results-Oriented: Demonstrated success achieving individual and team targets.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A commitment to supporting both the boutique’s overall success and the development of others.
