We are seeking a highly capable Wastewater Pump Station Technician to join our Queenstown-based team in this newly established role. In this role, theThe Wastewater Pump Station Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of wastewater pump stations and related equipment within the wastewater plant and associated networks. This position ensures the efficient and compliant operation of pump stations to collect and transfer wastewater to treatment facilities.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter and a results-focused team player who possesses a high degree of personal integrity and a positive attitude. They must be capable of assessing and assimilating a wide range of information to effectively consolidate a position or assessment, while demonstrating persistence, confidence in their own judgment, and the ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances. Furthermore, the role requires strong analytical skills and a steadfast focus on the quality of work.
You have associated industry skills, you’re physically fit, and you bring strong literacy, numeracy, computing, communication, and interpersonal skills to the table.. This role requires the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients and contractors, alongside motivation, enthusiasm, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
