
The Waste Treatment Plant Operator maintains and operates the plant Waste Water Treatment Plant to meet the required discharge requirements.
• Perform all required laboratory tests necessary to meet regulations and operating parameters.
• Evaluate operating data and make necessary changes to ensure that the plant meets discharge limits.
• Make necessary process adjustments to ensure WWTP discharge limits are met.
• Operate solids concentrating system and transport concentrated solids to designated location.
• Maintain all necessary records for the WWTP.
• Work with necessary chemicals used at the WWTP plant.
• Maintain company confidentiality.

The pay for this position is $26.05 - $26.60. All offers will be based on a candidate’s skills, prior relevant experience, applicable degrees and certifications, and internal equity. This range is specific to New York and may not be applicable to other locations.
• 2-years manufacturing experience.
• Ability to make decisions based on in-process results.
• Ability to add subtract multiply and divide.
• Maintain a Class B driver’s license.
• Ability to attend WWTP training seminars.
• Basic understanding of waste biological treatment process.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend neck; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with L/R hands.• Ability to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder and pushing/pulling/carrying.• Repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment with average temperature of 50-60 degrees F.• Use of motor skills to safely drive tow motors or other motorized vehicles in tight quarters.• Product weight: up to 50 lbs.
