
A Waste Management Technician is responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant handling, treatment, and disposal of liquid and hazardous waste at one or more Carnival Corporation owned and operated global destination. This role ensures that all activities adhere to regulatory requirements, company policies, and environmental standards to minimize risk to people, property, and the environment. The Waste Management Technician monitors and manages waste streams, properly segregates materials, and ensures that containers and storage areas meet safety and labeling requirements. In addition, the technician conducts inspections, performs routine maintenance on waste management equipment, and documents all waste handling activities accurately. They identify potential hazards, report safety concerns, and participate in training and emergency response procedures to maintain a safe workplace. The role requires a thorough understanding of hazardous materials, proper disposal techniques, and environmental compliance regulations, as well as strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to sustainability and safety practices.
