This role will support wider cleansing operations, working:

  • Always ensure safety — for yourself, your crew, and the public
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks, basic maintenance, and ensure vehicles remain roadworthy
  • Use in‑cab systems to support efficient and responsive service delivery
  • Work flexibly across the city in all weathers as part of a dedicated public service team

Guaranteed Interview if you meet these 3 requirements:

  • Hold a Category C (HGV Class II) driving licence
  • Have a valid Driver CPC card
  • Experience/knowledge in safely operating vehicles such as refuse collection vehicles, gritters, and mainline sweepers
