About the Role
We are recruiting for exciting opportunities within our expanding Street Cleansing teams, helping to deliver high-quality environmental improvements across Nottingham's city centre and neighbourhoods.
These roles are part of our dedicated Jet Washing Service, responsible for enhancing the appearance of the public realm through the cleaning and maintenance of pavements, public spaces, street furniture and Council-owned assets. We are recruiting to three shift patterns:
These shift patterns enable the service to provide effective coverage across the city throughout the week, ensuring key locations are maintained to a high standard while minimising disruption to residents, businesses and visitors.
Whether working in Nottingham's busy city centre or within neighbourhood shopping precincts and residential areas, you will play a vital role in delivering visible environmental improvements through jet washing, pavement cleaning, chewing gum removal, graffiti removal and the cleaning of Council-owned assets. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take pride in their work and want to make a positive difference to the environments where people live, work and visit.
These roles offer the opportunity to work within a dedicated frontline service, using specialist equipment to help maintain a clean, safe and attractive city while supporting Nottingham City Council's commitment to delivering excellent environmental standards for all communities.
