The Washer is responsible for cleaning a wide variety of materials and fittings, ranging from raw components to finished products. Using low-pressure water and approved cleaning tools, this role ensures all products meet cleanliness and quality standards. The shift will be Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
Key Responsibilities:
Wash and clean materials/fittings using low water pressure, dish soap, and manual cleaning tools.
Meet cleanliness and quality requirements before distributing materials.
Transport materials to designated departments using pallet jacks or forklifts.
Maintain safe, clean work environments and follow safety protocols. Communicate with various departments regarding material movement
Tools, Machinery & Equipment Used:
Sponge, washcloths, towels
Rubber gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, hearing protection, steel-toed boots
Work Environment & Safety:
Exposure to wet surfaces and seasonal weather.
Work performed in a partially open wash area.
Fast-paced, high-noise environment.
Pay:
$25.25/hour
Physical Demands:
Frequent standing, walking, lifting (less than 5 lbs frequently, up to 50 lbs occasionally).
Occasional twisting, crouching, kneeling.
Seldom climbing ladders and working at heights.
