Job Description

This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.  The Wash Rack Laborer is responsible for degreasing, washing and detailing equipment as it arrives new from the factory, upon return of rental, or as needed before or after repairs.

The hourly pay range for this position is: $23.00 - 26.00. This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime pay.

  • Steam clean and detail heavy equipment, parts, and components
  • Operate heavy equipment to move it to and from the steam pad and to organize the equipment yard as needed
  • Ensure the steam pad and assigned equipment is maintained and functioning safely and properly
  • Complete and submit assigned work order reports, time entry and all other paperwork daily
  • Provide janitorial support to the shop as needed
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Sales Coordinator

Job Requirement/Skills:

  • The individual in this position should be personable, highly motivated, detail oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage relationships both internally and externally.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift.
  • Ability to lift 50-75 pounds.

Nature and Scope of Job:

Requires prolonged standing, frequent walking, bending, twisting, stooping, and stretching. In addition, climbing up and down ladders, and on and off equipment will also be required.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma, or GED.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
