Job Purpose
The Warranty Operations Project Manager is responsible for strategic oversight and operational excellence within warranty processes. By analyzing workflows, making data-driven decisions, and leading process improvements, this role drives increased efficiency, accuracy, and profitability in warranty operations.
Duties & Responsibilities

- Make critical decisions to streamline warranty submission workflows, minimizing delays and reducing operational costs.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies or gaps in current processes and implement strategies to optimize performance and profitability.
- Ensure warranty queues are managed effectively, addressing bottlenecks promptly to maintain compliance with deadlines.
- Use advanced reporting tools to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and adjust strategies to align with departmental goals.
- Analyze warranty data to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue generation.
- Design and implement detailed reporting dashboards that provide actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.
- Oversee data validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of critical warranty metrics that inform high-level decisions.
- Lead initiatives to enhance warranty workflows, ensuring processes are scalable, accurate, and aligned with company objectives.
- Evaluate existing tools and systems, recommending and implementing upgrades to improve efficiency and functionality.
- Document and communicate workflows to ensure smooth adoption across teams.
- Direct and mentor the Remote Support Specialists, delegating tasks effectively to support department objectives.
- Establish clear performance goals and provide constructive feedback to foster professional growth and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational strategies with broader organizational priorities.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting DMS integration challenges (e.g., CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds, Dealertrack).
- Provide backup support to Warranty Analysts and related programs, ensuring seamless operations during peak periods.
- Assume additional responsibilities for special projects or critical initiatives as assigned by senior leadership.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree ( B.A., B.S.) in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Minimum of three (3+) years in warranty operations, project management, or a related role.
- Proven experience in leading operational improvements that resulted in measurable efficiency or profitability gains.
- Experience in supervisory or leadership, process improvement, and dealership management systems and operations are strongly preferred.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
