In this position...

  • The Global Coverages team performs reserve liability costing actuals and forecasts for every segment/market/vehicle line/MY variable in reserve.
  • The team provides direct support to the Quality Office also supports multiple other skill teams including Product Development and General Manager teams.
  • The job entails working with large amounts of data related to paid dealer claims via multiple systems (GSAR, OWS, GWFS) for estimation purposes as well as direct interaction with the iERP General Ledger and IMPRS profit reporting systems.

What you'll do...

  • Embedded within the Global Warranty Coverages group & will be responsible for activities / processes around the warranty finance business for Global Segmented Coverages
  • Perform Warranty Coverages Reserve Adequacy Analysis as prescribed in the FM RoTR
  • Perform the Coverages Actuals/Forecasts/Business Plans by Segment/Market/Vehicle Line/Model Year and provide variance explanations with the objective of highlighting the quality issues and the business physicals driving the Forecasts/Plans
  • Provide adequate & reliable analysis to management & other cross functional skill teams as and when required
  • Ensure accurate completion of the Accounting Month Close activities & ensure Monthly Account Reconciliations are completed in a timely manner
  • Maintain strong control environment and support key meetings/processes (MCRPs, Trainings, PWC audits etc.)

You'll have...

  • Experience in Financial Analysis, Budget Development & Tracking, Cost Control, Variance Analysis, Accounting
  • Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented & capable of strategic thinking along with a process improvement mindset
  • Strong Communication & Inter-Personal Skills with the ability to work across matrix organization
  • Special preferences for candidates with direct knowledge and/or exposure to analytical tools like Alteryx, MS Power platforms, Database skills (Access, SQL), ClickSense
  • Excellent organizational skills
