We are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Warranty and Progress Payment Responsible to oversee warranty governance, financial validation, payment cycles, and cross-functional alignment for our Home Comfort business in Istanbul

  • Govern the full execution of warranty policy, warranty claim processes, validation, and final financial settlement.
  • Perform technical assessment on returned claims, rejections, questionable failure patterns, and serial defect risks.
  • Own the end-to-end progress payment approval cycle with authorized service partners, including target setting, earned-value calculation, performance-based progress scoring, and release of payment approvals.
  • Financial Accuracy and Efficiency; Ensures accurate and timely processing of payments, reducing the risk of financial errors, discrepancies, and late payments.
  • Risk Mitigation; Identifies and addresses payment discrepancies or issues promptly, reducing the risk of disputes or disruptions in post-sales transactions. This minimizes potential legal or reputational risks.
  • Monitor field service KPI performance of service partners and utilize results in payment scaling decisions.
  • Process Efficiency: Streamlines the payment approval and processing workflows, reducing administrative bottlenecks and potential delays. This efficiency allows for smoother after-sales operations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment between Service Partner, Finance, Quality, Field Operations, Parts Supply and Legal.
  • Ensure warranty cost containment – including proactive cost avoidance and continuous improvement countermeasures.
  • Establish and continuously revise service warranty policies, business rules, reimbursement structures, labor tables, and pricing matrices.
  • Define data models and dashboards to track warranty cost per product, per component, per region, per service partner.
  • Introduce corrective actions and countermeasures for recurring or systemic failure modes.
  • Support audit processes for internal and external controls
  • Lead digitalization initiatives related to warranty platforms, automation of validation rules, and structured database usage.
  • Aligned with suppliers regarding to credit notes process and follow-up
  • Manage to be scrapping process concerning replaced spare parts and products
  • Filling warranty reports according to supplier process.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration and Management, equivalent administrative discipline
  • Minimum 4–7 years’ experience in HVAC after sales service warranty / service finance ( Preferred)
  • High analytical ability, critical reasoning, risk-based judgement
  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment, system components, and failure mechanisms
  • Commercial acumen & contract governance literacy2
  • Stakeholder alignment, influence management, conflict resolution
  • Advanced MS Excel / PowerBI / SQL literacy (preferred)
  • Experience in ERP/SAP warranty modules or equivalent CRM/Service platforms
  • Ability to interpret technical failure data & digital service logs
  • Demonstrated experience in warranty cost control or service performance management
  • Minimum Upper-intermediate or Advance English level with fluency
  • Residency in İstanbul
