Continental Reifen Austria GmbH is the sales organization of the Continental Group in the Austrian market, serving a broad range of customers in the specialized tire trade and the automotive retail sector.

Our extensive product portfolio covers tires for virtually all vehicle categories, ranging from two-wheelers and passenger cars to commercial vehicles. Our leading brands include the global premium brand Continental and the well-established Austrian brand Semperit.

In collaboration with other European markets, we operate and manage a Regional Distribution Center (RDC) in the Bratislava region, which plays a key role in our international supply chain and logistics network.

Job Description

In this role, you will ensure the efficient operation and continuous improvement of warehouse and distribution activities across multiple markets while collaborating with regional and international stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Managing operational warehouse and distribution activities within the assigned markets
• Steering and further developing partnerships with external logistics and transportation service providers
• Monitoring warehouse performance through relevant KPIs and conducting regular operational and quality reviews
• Ensuring high service levels, inventory accuracy, and efficient material flow processes
• Identifying and implementing improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and process efficiency
• Coordinating collaboration between regional markets, manufacturing plants, Logistics EMEA, Supply Chain functions, and logistics partners
• Acting as a key interface for logistics-related topics while ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal requirements
• Planning and conducting warehouse, facility, and quality audits
• Developing and continuously enhancing reporting structures and KPI frameworks covering inventory, availability, service performance, and logistics costs
• Supporting budgeting and investment planning activities within the logistics environment
• Leading and contributing to cross-functional projects focused on logistics optimization, warehouse layout improvements, and quality standards

Qualifications

To succeed in this position, you bring a strong logistics background combined with excellent stakeholder management and project coordination skills:

• Successfully completed higher education in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field, with a solid understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Several years of professional experience (minimum 3-5 years) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Distribution, or Demand Management
• Solid understanding of warehouse operations, distribution processes, and inventory management
• Experience working with logistics systems and ERP solutions, preferably SAP SD, SAP EWM, and SCOR/SST processes
• Proven experience in project management and process improvement initiatives
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and drive initiatives in an international matrix organization
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Experience working in international and intercultural business environments
• Business fluent English, both written and spoken
• German language skills and additional languages such as Slovak, Czech, or Hungarian are considered an advantage
