Position Explanation:

This role may be responsible for all general warehouse, shipping and receiving duties or portions of these duties as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager or Branch Manager. This role may also serve as a back-up driver and will need to hold a DOT medical card.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Handle heavy equipment safely (boilers, water heaters, etc.)
• Ability to swiftly and carefully lift 75lbs.
• Loads trucks by ordering, placing, and securing items
• Store stock product immediately.
• Verify shipments

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

• DOT medical card physical, drug and background screen are mandatory.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Forklift Certification required

Soft Skills and Cultural Fit:

• Good data entry skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to use a computer and learn new systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Warehouse experience a plus.
