The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services is looking for exceptional individuals to join our team in our state-of the-art, temperature-controlled warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Worker II, you will contribute to the department's service-focused mission by providing superior customer service and keeping our supply chain running smoothly.

Daily responsibilities include:
•Inventory & Order Fulfillment: Pick products to prepare for shipment. Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment. Receive, ship, stock, and maintain the warehouse inventory.
•Equipment Operation: Safely operate order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical equipment while navigating our air-conditioned facility.
Inventory Control & Record Keeping: Conduct regular and spot-check inventories of merchandise, supplies, or equipment. Maintain accurate records and logs to ensure there is always an adequate supply of materials available.
•Quality Assurance: Order, receive, inspect, and store equipment, merchandise, commodities, and materials, ensuring all goods meet department standards.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
•Age: Be at least 21 years of age or older.
•Physical: Able to lift up to 75 pounds on a continuous basis and capable of lifting/maneuvering items while working at heights (up to 30 feet).
•Background: Able to pass a criminal background check.
•Schedule: Be willing and able to work weekends as needed.
•Work Ethic: Possess a strong work ethic and readiness to tackle strenuous tasks.
•Experience: Have proven warehouse experience, including maintaining inventory and operating heavy warehouse equipment.

  • Information Ordering & Category Flexibility: The ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern, and successfully use different sets of rules for grouping merchandise accurately.
  • Selective Attention: The ability to concentrate on a task over a prolonged period of time without being distracted in a busy warehouse setting.
  • Problem Sensitivity: A proactive mindset to quickly recognize when something is wrong—or is likely to go wrong—so issues can be addressed early.
Operational Excellence & Service
  • Customer & Personal Service: Knowledge of principles for providing superior customer service, assessing needs, meeting quality standards, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Monitoring: Skill in assessing the performance of yourself and the operational environment to make improvements or take corrective action.

  • Risks which require the use of special safety precautions and/or equipment, e.g., working around operating machines, etc.
  • Physical Requirements.
  • The work requires considerable and strenuous physical exertion such as frequent climbing, lifting heavy objects over 50 pounds, crouching or crawling, etc.
