Warehouse Worker/Forklift driver job profile
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Warehouse Worker/Forklift driver to apply for a logistics company Habjan/Htehnika in Slovenia!
We expect the candidate to have practical experience in warehouse work and forklift operation, as well as basic computer skills. Our company is introducing an IT-supported warehouse management system, so the work will also include the use of digital tools.
The work will involve using digital systems to record incoming goods, outgoing goods, movement of goods inside the warehouse, and stock levels.
Job responsibility:
- operates various types of forklifts, including high-reach forklifts, for the safe movement, storage, and handling of goods within the warehouse.
- loads and unloads trucks, performed cross-dock operations, and ensures efficient flow of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- recordeds goods receipts, dispatches, stock levels, and warehouse movements using computerized warehouse management systems (WMS).
- conductes inventory checks and maintained accurate electronic records to support efficient warehouse operations.
- follows safety procedures while working independently and collaboratively to ensure an organized, productive, and compliant warehouse environment
Requirements and qualification (we expect the candidate to have):
- at least 2 yrs of practical/real experience in warehouse work and active operation of different types of forklifts, including a high-reach forklift,
- a valid forklift licence/certificate,
- experience with cross-dock operations (movement of goods from one trailer to another),
- experience with loading and unloading trucks,
- computer literacy (basic knowledge of Word and Excel),
- willingness to use an IT-supported warehouse management system,
- accuracy when electronically recording goods, stock levels and warehouse movements,
- a responsible, independent and organized approach to work.

- Duration of contract: long term contract - 24 months
- Salary: competitive salary - 40 hours a week, b onuses for work results after 6 months;
- Working hours: cca174 - 185 monthly
- Over time work: paid overtime hours as per law
- Accomodation & meal: Provided accommodation & meal allowance 250,00 EUR
- Working hours: shift - 7 hours/6 days a week
