Monday-Thursday 2:30p - 12a
Friday - 2:30p - 11pm

LKQ Canada is looking for a dedicated and passionate Warehouse Team Member with Forklift experience. You will be responsible for general labour, warehouse maintenance, safely loading and unloading parts with the use of a pallet jack, hand truck, or forklift. What are your responsibilities asaWarehouse Team Member?

  • Load & unload shuttle trucks or transport trucks with a forklift,

  • Sort, label, pick, put away,consolidate, stack and stage aftermarket parts, salvage parts and paint products using a forklift, pallet jack, or other power equipment,

  • Use an RF scanner to scan parts in and out to their respective locations or next destinations,

  • Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments,

  • Record receipts toappropriate formsand/or logbooks, verifying that proper documentation is attached,

  • Support all operational procedures to ensure value to the customer and compliance with all LKQ policies, customerrequirementsand provincial legislation,

  • Assistswith inventories & cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation,

  • Inspect each pallet and or case for proper quantities, items brands, and lot codes (as applicable) damages and follow any special instructions on Work Assignment Form and /oradditionaldocumentation,

  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area, and

  • Assistin various warehouse tasks& performother duties as assigned.

What is the profile we are looking for?

  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience,

  • Knowledge of and ability tooperatea forklift and meet medium level physical exertion requirements, includinglifting upto 50 poundsfrequently,

  • Proficiencyand experience using a computer and various computer programs, and

  • Adhere to asafe workenvironment,display a positive and helpful demeanor, and a commitment to providing the best in customer service.

Job Requirements

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:General knowledge and ability to performrelatively simplework using basic arithmetic. Must be able to recognize bin number locations. Must be familiar with the company’s products and warehouse methods.Mustbe able to work with others.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment:This position requiresindividualsto constantly be on their feetexpectwhenoperatingmachinery.Sits, stands, bends, lifts, andmovesintermittently during working hours.Issubject to frequent interruptions Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and withstand heights of 15-35feet Must be able to lift at least 50-75 lbs.

Working Conditions:Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to cold & heat. The noise level is moderately loud.
