Core Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Receive, inspect, unload, and store incoming shipments in designated warehouse locations.
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment while ensuring order accuracy.
Move materials, products, and inventory throughout the warehouse using manual and powered equipment.
Load and unload palletized and non-palletized materials from trucks and trailers.
Sort, organize, and store inventory on racks, shelves, or designated storage areas according to established procedures.
Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate records of materials received, stored, and shipped.
Label, scan, and track inventory using warehouse management systems and handheld devices.
Conduct cycle counts and assist with maintaining accurate inventory levels.
Inspect products and materials for damage and report discrepancies to supervisors.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling devices, following all safety guidelines.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
Follow company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards at all times.
Qualifications
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent.
1+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, logistics, distribution, or related experience.
Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment preferred.
Basic computer skills and experience using inventory or warehouse management systems.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Basic math skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret shipping documents, work orders, and inventory records.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
