Schedule is set at time of hire

Pay: $760–$1,000 per week

The Opportunity

Capstone is hiring Warehouse Unloaders to support a busy grocery distribution operation in Walnut, CA. This is a very physical, fast-paced warehouse position where associates will work throughout the shift in both refrigerated/cooler areas and dry dock environments.

The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, comfortable working on their feet for extended periods, and able to safely handle heavy grocery products.

Prior warehouse experience and electric pallet jack (EPJ) experience are strongly preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

Warehouse Unloaders perform a variety of duties, including:

• Unload grocery products from trailers and move freight safely throughout the warehouse
• Operate an electric pallet jack to move and position product when trained and authorized
• Handle, lift, carry, stack, sort, and palletize cases of grocery products
• Work in both cooler/refrigerated areas and dry dock environments throughout the shift
• Build and organize pallets according to site requirements
• Inspect and sort freight for accuracy and damage
• Repack, restack, and organize product as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and instructions from site leadership
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• High-energy individual with a strong work ethic
• Previous warehouse and/or electric pallet jack experience strongly preferred
• Ability and willingness to learn warehouse equipment and procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Ability to lift and carry 25–75 lbs. repeatedly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift for extended periods
• Comfortable working in refrigerated/cooler temperatures as well as dry dock areas
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Strong attention to safety and ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
