We are actively seeking a Warehouse Technical Lead to join our team of talented people to help continue our tradition of innovation and market leadership. This position works out of our facility in Woodland, WA. Come and grow with us!

Schedule 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Job duties include

  • Lead and mentor a team of 4-6 warehouse and logistics professionals.
  • Ensure safe, timely shipment and accurate documentation of all outbound equipment, materials and products.
  • Coordinate with manufacturing, sales, purchasing, project management, and other departments to arrange movement of materials and equipment to meet manufacturing and sales schedules.
  • Maintain team performance metrics and work with team and managers on areas for improvement.
  • Work with Warehouse Manager to maintain local relationships with carriers, including process improvements, resolving lost items, and claims.
  • Cross train with and back up other warehouse leads.
  • Help rotate warehouse specialists through different tasks so that they can learn all aspects of proper handling, receiving, storing, packaging, and shipping parts.
  • Ensure team members are properly trained to safely use tools and material handling equipment in the warehouse.
  • Lead documentation and continuous improvement of standard processes in the work area.
  • And other duties as required.

Skills required:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience as a warehouse or logistics lead or similar position preferred
  • Strong background in domestic and international shipping
  • Understanding of export/import rules and regulations
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management
  • Knowledge and experience working ERP/WMS systems
  • Forklift and crane experience preferred
  • Crating experience preferred
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills
  • Time management skills and the ability to delegate
  • Strong problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation $30-40/hour DOE
