Our Melbourne based Distribution Centre has another exciting and unique opportunity for the right person to join its brilliant Operations Team.

Previous warehouse experience, although handy, is not essential. We are prioritising a positive "can do" attitude, an enthusiastic and passionate approach, a team player, an eye for detail, a good sense of humour and to be fit & healthy to undertake all aspects and tasks of Warehousing.

The Monday to Friday Full Time (day) role is based at our Melbourne Distribution Centre in Truganina. Daily tasks will involve but are not only limited to, outbound order fulfilment, receipting of inbound goods, inventory management and control, forklift use, loading and unloading of heavy vehicles, hands-on tasks, communicating cross functionally...there is variety in every day. We also repair Chain Mesh PPE, a learned and unique skill that will form part of the role and responsibility.

• Fulfil outbound customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Meet internal outbound and inbound deadlines
• Receipting of inbound products
• Inventory management and control
• Awareness and passion to exceed customer expectations
• Maintain a clean and tidy work environment
• Operate reach forklift truck and counter-balance forklifts when & if required
• Manual handling up to 20kg
• Respect all team members and the environment
• Enjoy what you do and the team around you
• Inspect, review and repair chain mesh gloves and apparel (full training provided)
• Maintain accurate records and communication processes of repairs

Who you are

• Exceptional hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
• Remain cool, calm and focused under pressure with a consistent high output
• Forklift licence, although preferred, not essential (or willing to obtain)
• Experience in warehousing and / or technical repair roles is a bonus (not essential)
• Passionate about performing well to show you really care
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to operate autonomously as well as in a team.
• Passionate about living the company values and always presenting themselves well.
• Reliable, punctual, honest and responsible.
