The Opportunity
Orrcon Steel Distribution is looking for a Warehouse Team Member to join the warehouse teambased in Northgate QLD Orrcon Steel Distribution is a leading Australian supplier of steel and aluminium products, offering a comprehensive range engineered to meet the demands of diverse industries. Our products are backed by strong technical expertise, full traceability, and stringent quality standards. Supported by strategic supplier partnerships and a nationwide network of distribution centres, we ensure consistent availability, reliable performance, and dependable supply for customers across Australia.
This is a hands-on physical role where you’ll be required to operate overhead gantry cranes and drive forklifts to pack orders for our customers, while monitoring product quality and remaining committed to your safety and that of the team. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of our Warehouse Team Member role, allowing for future career development opportunities. No two days are the same, and full training is provided no matter your skillset.
What We Offer
These full-time, permanent roles offer a competitive weekly rate (pre-tax) starting from $1,124.28, with the ability to progress to $1,220.94, depending on your skills and experience (not including allowances). You’ll also be eligible for overtime, public holiday pay and quarterly bonus. Our operations run 5 days a week, with opportunities across day, afternoon and night shifts Afternoon shift attracts a 13.27% shift loading allowance.
