Job Description

The role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader - Receivables to join us as we grow and develop our warehouse team in our branch.

• Oversee all receiving operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in processing incoming goods
• Lead, train, and support receivables team to maintain high standards
• Providing leadership and support to members in the receivals area
• Assign operational tasks to team members with-in receivals
• Check, label, and place parts correctly into designated stock locations
• Monitor department workflow to ensure efficient department operations
• Collaborate with warehouse leadership team to improve processes and team outcomes
• Delegating duties within the receivals area to warehouse store persons
• Identifying issues within receivals and rectifying or alerting the supervisor/manager
• Assist in training new team members
• Effectively work as a team member
• Model the expected standards of performance and safe work practices
• Identify and discuss with the supervisor opportunities for continuous improvement

About You

• Previous experience in a Teamleader role preferably within a retail environment or similar
• A current forklift licence
• Experience in heavy vehicle or commercial spare parts or in a similar industry will be advantageous
• An intermediate level of computer skills, including a comprehensive knowledge of inventory and freight systems
• Experience in the use of RF scanners is preferred but not essential
