Warehouse Team Leader
Virginia | Full-time | Monday to Friday, 7:00 am–3:00 pm
Lead a warehouse customer service team in a hands-on role, coordinating daily workloads, customer collections and accurate order fulfilment

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our supportive and friendly team at our Virginia branch. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will help coordinate daily warehouse activities, support your team and ensure customers receive efficient, friendly service
Your responsibilities
- Allocate daily tasks, coordinate staff and plan workloads to ensure orders are picked, packed and loaded accurately and on time.
- Lead and motivate the warehouse customer service team, monitor performance and support compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Coordinate yard traffic and customer order collections.
- Inspect customer returns and communicate with customers throughout the returns process.
- Assist with stock replenishment, stock rotation and inventory accuracy.
- Support daily toolbox meetings and maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness and Chain of Responsibility compliance.
- Identify issues in picking processes and warehouse systems and recommend improvements.
- Support the Warehouse Manager with recruitment, onboarding and employee performance matters.
- Perform general warehouse duties as required
About you
You will ideally bring:
- Previous warehouse experience in transport, logistics or distribution.
- Experience leading, supervising or coordinating warehouse team members.
- A current forklift licence.
- Strong communication skills and a customer service focus.
- The ability to delegate tasks, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to accuracy, quality and safety.
- The ability to safely perform the physical duties of the role.
- A positive, proactive and accountable approach to teamwork
